I can't log in right now (I've put a self-enforcing login block on my account so I will get something done in my life besides edit Wikipedia), but I thought I would address your comment on the Sisters, Oregon page about not being able to reach those who have edited it. Please read Help:Talk pages. The Sisters talk page is here: Talk:Sisters, Oregon, which can be reached using the tab at the top of the Sisters page labeled "discussion". I haven't responded to your post on my talk page (thanks for posting there--this is the normal route for reaching other editors besides the article's talk page) because I'm supposed to be taking a Wikivacation, but I'll get back to you after the 7th. In the meantime, I bet User:Jgilhousen would be willing to help you.

If you are confused about the edits I and Jgilhousen have made, please reread WP:NOT, and also check out the information about external links: WP:LINKS. For citation info, there is WP:CITE. You also mentioned your loss of all the external links you worked hard to find. If you look at the article's history (reached using the "history" tab at the top of each article page) you can see all the previous versions of the article, which will include the edits where you added those links. Please note that this is not an invitation to readd all those external links. I think some of those might be better suited to Wikitravel. Thanks for updating the name of the creek. Things like that are very helpful in making the article encyclopedic. Some of the other things that we took out made the article read more like a relocation or tourism guide (see WP:NOT per above) than an encyclopedia. All of this is open to interpretation, obviously, so hopefully we can collaborate on the article--we aren't changing your edits because we are mean-spirited or controlling, we are simply trying to follow Wikipedia policy and guidelines. Happy editing and I'll talk to you soon. P.S. be sure to sign your posts with 4 tildes (~~~~). 159.121.116.52 22:10, 3 January 2007 (UTC) aka Katr67[reply]

P.P.S. I took a look at your webpage and if you know fixit from OCF, he can vouch for me. :D 159.121.116.52 22:27, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm back from wikibreak, if you're around you can contact me here or on my talk page, thanks! Katr67 23:39, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mold inspection, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://tothinspectionservices.com/moldinformation.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 21:26, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Mold inspection

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Mold inspection, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. — madman bum and angel 21:27, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

September 2007

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Mold inspection. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. — madman bum and angel 21:38, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Owl Farm

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Owl Farm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
