Anji

[edit]

OK, Kapoor, that's what I thought it was. I Who 2 by Lars Pearson has it as Karpoor Tim! (talk) 21:31, 6 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Lars is a lovely man, but Mad Norwegian stuff tends to have a lot of typos. :) --khaosworks 23:28, May 6, 2005 (UTC)

Companions in the table?

[edit]

Should I add the companions to the table, as I've done on the other novel pages, or do you think the companion section takes care of it? (One possible advantage to the table is the inclusion of folks like Jo Grant in Genocide: I've got a bit of it up at my user page right now, if you want to see how it looks.) &madsh;Josiah Rowe 21:59, 29 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind — it's done. If it looks crappy, feel free to remove them! --Josiah Rowe 01:00, 30 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure about adding K-9 to The Ancestor Cell? I know we find in Gallifrey Chronicles that he was there, but I don't think he's identified as such in the first book? ----Konczewski 20:39, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was sure until you mentioned it. :) I may well have "edited" my memories of The Ancestor Cell to insert K-9, per The Gallifrey Chronicles. I don't have time to dig the book up right now, but if you're sure he's not in the book go ahead and take him out. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 20:45, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I double-checked--K-9 is mentioned in TGC as having been hidden in TARDIS at the time of TAC, but he's not actually present in the narrative of the first book. That's always been the problem with the novels--lots of reconning makes it hard to build a coherent history. For example, you could list Ace in The Crystal Buchephalus, as she makes a one-page cameo--but I wouldn't. --Konczewski 16:29, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough — I stand corrected! —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 17:55, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fear Itself

[edit]

Simply started up the stub for the first Eighth Doctor PDA novel, Fear Itself. Feel more than free towards contributing thereto and improving the article with useful bits of trivia and what-not. DrWho42 03:47, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Storey arcs as in Virgin New Adventures

[edit]

Should there be similar segments of the Plot overview that focuses upon the arcs the same way the New Adventures does? The Doctor Who Ratings Guide primarily gives notice to three of them: EDA. DrWho42 00:09, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's a whole section in Eighth Doctor that needs to be merged with the information in the plot overview. After that's done, the arcs can be broken up. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 01:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation?

[edit]

I came here looking for information on the Paul McGann audio adventures which were produced for the BBC by Big Finish, and broadcast on BBC7/ BBC 4Extra, which also went under the name of “The Eighth Doctor Adventures” - there should be reference in the article that there are two separate series with this name. In fact, as the audio series is actual sold under that title, on CD and download, by Big Finish, and the books appear to have only been informally designated this without that name on the product, the audios may have a greater claim for the use of the name. 86.174.190.94 (talk) 10:46, 28 November 2014 (UTC) Sorry, wasn’t logged in.
