Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. The result of the debate was delete
Matsucom has a single product, therefore it is non-notable. It seems to be the manufacturer, not the distributor (although I wouldn't swear to it). If deleted, the manufacturer link that was added to Watch should be deleted as well. Noisy 08:24, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Delete - the company isn't (IMHO) notable enough to warrant replacing the current advert with an article about it. - TB 13:19, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, please. Lyellin 14:11, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. The site www.pconhand.com clearly shows a following of many users and downloadable applications. This is not a closed PDA, but a wristwatch programming platform with applications, games, a C compiler, and recently a BASIC compiler. Seiko is the original manufacturer, listed under the Ruputer brand name.DanP 20:15, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Then why doesn't the article say that? And why isn't the article under the correct company name of Matsucom, Inc.? And why does it read like an advert, instead of a an encyclopedic article?
- Seriously, you are welcomed to the Wikipedia community as the author of this article (and you seem to be following Meelar's injunction to be bold), and I would encourage you to respond to a challenge like this by developing your article – possibly taking the questions I've raised as starting points – and creating an article that will cause the other respondents to change their votes, or me to withdraw my proposal for deletion. If you scan the VfD page, you will find that there are a number of debates over articles which are relevant to very few people; most of which end in deletions, but some of which are turned around by a genuine effort to create an artcle that resonates with the spirit of Wikipedia. I would hate to put you off at the beginning of a Wikipedia 'career', but one way to become a successful Wikipedians (from my perspective) is to hop about and help out all over the place, rather than just confining yourself to your own area of interest. Go ahead, make my day by sprucing the article up to make it truely worthy! Cheers, Noisy 20:57, 5 Aug 2004 (UTC)

OH? What happens if I DO edit this page? Hmmmm!
