I see that this was moved from "A.J.P. Taylor". The "C.S. Lewis" article still has the punctuation in his name. Is there a criterion for deciding whether to follow the old convention, "A.J.P. Taylor" (still universally standard in the USA), or the new one, "AJP Taylor" (which began maybe about 50 years ago in Britain)? Lewis died in 1963, so I imagine he followed the old usage. -- Mike Hardy
Well the matter's been settled by redirecting to the full name article which already existed. I have seen somewhere in the naming conventions that we use full stops and spaces after people's initials, thus "T. H. White" -- Tarquin 23:18 Dec 7, 2002 (UTC)
