Mistake on the July 1 featured picture

Position on the main page
[edit]I reckon the FP section would be better in the top right slot on the main page where it would form a natural pairing with the Featured Article. As this would require some restructuring of the main page I have started some discussion at Talk: Main Page. Andrew🐉(talk) 10:19, 10 August 2023 (UTC)
Film section
[edit]Should the films in the Wikipedia:Featured pictures/Culture, entertainment, and lifestyle/Entertainment section be spun off into their own section for films? The amount of movies becoming Featured Pictures is increasing. Could make it easier to navigate that way. GamerPro64 19:55, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

WP:WAWARDS are back
[edit]Letting any watcher or regulars of Featured pictures that the W Awards are back up and running since it's long sleep of 10 years. It'd be helpful if you'd like to become a reviewer or nominate people who you think fit the criteria in any of the awards (Bronze, Silver, Golden, Platinum) and give any suggestions on awards or changes that you think should happen in the talk page!
