Halfbakery Screenshot
[edit]Thanks for putting that up. How do you create screenshots without the limitations of the browser window? Do you have to do two and stick them together? Daniel 02:19, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for that, I have installed it. Daniel 11:00, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Non-free image use messages removed
[edit]I've removed the messages I've gotten from bots about non-free image use, as all of the images have either been deleted or the issue has been resolved. I'm not sure if this goes against Wikipedia etiquette, but if it does, please revert the edit and tell me that I was wrong to have removed them.
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NXClientWindows FairUseCropped.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:NXClientWindows FairUseCropped.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:05, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Accommodation Article
[edit]Hi, I was just revisiting a page that I had some input on and I noticed a change that you made to Accommodation (eye): "Replaced unsourced, strong statement (100% of people over 60 have presbyopia) with weaker, more understandable statement" in Sept last year. OK I am a layman here, and I guess that you are too but what you have done here is to fundamentally change the meaning of a statement and this is really a no-no. Perhaps the original "100% of people over 60 have presbyopia" was unverifiably strong, but all the research shows that presbyopia is an inevitable aspect of aging. Your rewording "by 60 years of age, most of the population will have noticed a decrease in their ability to focus on close objects." is just far too weak. It's a bit like saying that most people die before their 110th birthday. :-P
PS. Sorry about putting this on your User page: find fart; I backed it out. TerryE (talk) 11:51, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:Halfbakery Screenshot.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Halfbakery Screenshot.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 10:49, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
