Articles
[edit]I am slightly concerned that you are editing similar articles to me and have a similar name. Any suggestions? CheeseDreams 23:18, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Kinda confused has to why this is an issue, I only corrected a typo on one(has far as I can tell) of your articles, because I noticed it whist I was reading it, has for the user name thing, I think our user names are different enough its unlikly that we would be mistaken for each other, also there are probally a number of other "cheese" alias's on wikipedia. I apologize for any concern I may have caused. Cheesegoduk 23:37, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
What concerns me is that other editors will confuse us. I attract a large set of fundamentalist stalkers in my editing, and I don't think you would appreciate them hounding you. CheeseDreams 23:43, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I've put up with far worse from IRC networks and message boards in the past, I think I can handle it, should anyone get our nicknames mixed up. I don't intend to further edit or add arguements to your articles, rather I only noticed one small spelling error and saw that it needed to be corrected Cheesegoduk 23:34, 28 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit]Hello there,
Thanks for your note on this subject. I'm not a deletionist by nature - very much the opposite actually ; You appear to be doing some work in expanding the content of the article...and the vandalism (seemingly occuring every week or so) is easily enough reversed, as you will have found by now ; I remember being very protective of the first article I started editing (Brighouse, the town in which I live) - I'll keep the article in my watch-list for a couple of weeks ; hopefully the vandals will get bored when they realise their efforts are so easily reversed. Fair use rationale for Image:Kscslogo.jpg
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Kscslogo.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. JDtalk 12:37, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Who are you?
[edit]I am currently attending the sixth-form at KSCS, but I'm not sure if I know you or not. Alan 12:18, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image (Image:Kscslogo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Kscslogo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:14, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
File:Emilyroebling.gif needs authorship information.
[edit]The media file you uploaded as File:Emilyroebling.gif is missing information as to its authorship (and or source) , or if such information is provided it is confusing.
Although images may not need author information in un-controversial cases, or where an applicable source is provided, such information aids those making use of the image, and helps verify the copyright status of an image.
If possible, please consider updating the media information page to make the authorship (and or source) of this media clearer.
If the media is your own work, please consider explicitly including your user name or using the {{own}} template on the media information page.
If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 07:57, 11 April 2011 (UTC)Orphaned non-free image File:FDR unfinished.jpg
