Can anyone tell me where the Dorothy in the title comes from? Certainly not from the article, where that name is never mentioned. Should the U.S. actress ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0429923/ ) need a disambiguation page? <KF> 00:38, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Mistress vs partner

I have just undone an uncited edit in which the term mistress had been changed to partner. Dorothea Jordan lived in a society which was socially different from ours, so that the terminology of the time (however we may object to it today) reflects contemporary attitudes and behaviours. Jordan was producing children with a nationally important person who needed legitimate heirs. Her position challenged any wife and heir that he might have. So the word mistress reflects that. Siblings place of burial

Several different spellings of what seems to be the same place, but no working source - which is it? Is it referring to the hamlet 2 miles north of St Davids (no apostrophe) in Pembrokeshire, Wales - now known as Treleddyd/Treleddyn?

Mentioned are: 1. St David's, as of Trelethin 2. Trelethin, St David's 3. St David's, Pembrokeshire 4. parish was at Trelethyn.
