Still Filming?
[edit]Is Lara Roxx still in the porn industry even though she has HIV? New videos have surfaced since her positive test. On the website Her First Big Cock, a video was released on November 23, 2012 with Lara Roxx. There has also been other solo and girl on girl Canadian videos appearing with Lara Roxx in it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.61.104.142 (talk) 16:57, 15 December 2012 (UTC)
Darren James
[edit]This is a really strong indictment of Darren James. Has it been fully established that he was responsible for her contracting HIV? I'd hate to think that he might sue us for slander if this isn't documented. RickK 22:57, May 14, 2005 (UTC)
- Your opinion of a person or their career has no bearing on the legal and moral obiliagaton to justify attacks on that person. RickK 09:43, May 22, 2005 (UTC)
- And how is it two strikes? Even if I grant you that "porn stars" are morally deficient solely based on their line of work, that doesn't make two strikes. You're wrong, RickK has a good point, and I'll try to find a source, Rick. 10:42, May 31, 2005 User:216.158.31.195
- Relative to the "strong indicment" comment. This link http://aim-med.org/Quarantine.html shows that the concern was caused by the actress working with Darren James. It seems that Mr. James is patient zero in this case. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.174.8.222 (talk • contribs) 03:17, October 12, 2005
Darren James is the US patient zero, after contracting it in Brazil. The scene they starred together was in International Booty 8. Around the same time, they also appeared in White Girls Suck and Swallow 1, although not in the same scene. That she was in at least two American productions seems to contradict her statements that it was her first scene, as I also recall her emphasizing that she couldn't/didn't get work in porn after that scene (but before her diagnosis). Only one of those statements can be true, obviously. 98.225.230.65 (talk) 10:53, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Other porn articles
[edit]May I point out that several porn articles which I have encountered are major POV in favor of the porn stars, including praise for their "hotness" and "sexy breasts", etc. Such comments are not necessary. I think that we can all assume that a porn actress' body parts are attractice to many men without documentation in Wikipedia. This particular article fortunately does not feature such POV content. I am not familiar with the other issue being discussed, so I will not comment on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.74.44.86 (talk • contribs) 01:30, July 12, 2005

- Lara Roxx - needs references which document that she got HIV from Darren James, or leaves us open to a lawsuit. RickK 21:18, May 15, 2005 (UTC)
Filmography correction
[edit]I've changed this article to correct a fairly major error. It originally stated that Lara appeared in Split that Booty 2, in fact her scene did not appear in the film. --Megaforcemedia 16:17, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
I don't know where this rumor comes from but Lara Roxx is not in "Split that Booty 2"! Bianca Biaggi stars with Darren James in STB 2 which was released on July 20, 2004 (according to Adult Video Universe). Lara Roxx then appears with James in International Booty # 8 which was released on August 5, 2004. This can be confirmed by watching Spilt that Booty 2 and realizing that the all filming takes place in Brazil (where Biaggi is from) and by watching International Booty #8 and realizing that filming takes place in Quebec (where Roxx is from). One can also verify the facts by checking the cast-lists for both titles. --origen01 21:15, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Actually, the original claim was correct. On 24 March Roxx and James filmed the double anal penetration scene where it is believed he infected her with HIV. This was shortly after James and Biaggi filmed the scene in Brazil. Roxx's scene was filmed in California.
As Biaggi (like most Brazilian porn workers) has apparently never had a publically released HIV test, it has been speculated that Biaggi gave James HIV. I don't remember the date of the Biaggi scene filming, but it was within the window of an HIV infection and a positive HIV test--James tested negative between the time he came back from Brazil and the scene with Roxx. The scene was originally intended for "Split that Booty 2" but was not used once it became known that it was video of Roxx being infected with HIV. However, Roxx was credited on the online version at least, even though her scene is not there. (I haven't seen it and there may be more than one version anyhow.)
All this can be confirmed from the cited Montreal Mirror article or the "Porn Shutdown" documentary. The scene in International Booty #8 is probably the other, 10 February scene Roxx did with James, which was not double anal and was filmed in Montreal.
This also calls into question the claim that Roxx may have already been positive on 10 February and actually infected James at that time. He would have been expected to have a positive HIV test after he came back from Brazil if this had been the case. The dates of negative HIV tests required for porn workers in California are strong evidence that James got HIV right around the time in was in Brazil. 76.226.49.168 (talk) 23:49, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Confusion
[edit]I know Lara reasonably well. What is it that's causing a fuss on this page? Just tell me where the confusion lies and I'll call her and ask her. There's certainly no doubt as to where she got the HIV. --Megaforcemedia 03:17, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Did Lara Roxx sue the producer T T Boy???
[edit]The British Channel 4 documentary "The Dark Side of Porn" said that Lara Roxx was considering suing the producer of "Split that Booty", one "T T Boy". Did she end up suing him or anyone??? With regards to the comment above that Lara Roxx was not in "Split That Booty", I have no idea (I do not watch porn), but I suppose there could be several explanations - maybe she was shot with him in a scene but it got cut out in the editing room??? - I don't know - just know that the documentary definately states that it was "Split That Booty". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.129.158.40 (talk) 14:22, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
Intro sounds like self-service
[edit]The whole intro paragraph, before the break, needs to be re-written, badly. It almost sounds like she wrote it herself as a puff-piece. 2604:2D80:4E82:8C00:A43A:A12C:EAA8:331C (talk) 22:32, 5 April 2020 (UTC)
