Most of these Geography of... articles are pure CIA data dumps, so I tried to make one a decent article. Questions, suggestions, and comments welcome! Neutralitytalk 23:47, Nov 26, 2004 (UTC)
- Really good job, Neutrality! I found a couple nits, but they seem really minor -
- "500m altitude" - should this be elevation?
- This sentence should probably be recast slightly:
- The southeastern region of Côte d'Ivoire is marked by coastal inland lagoons that starts at the Ghanaian border and stretch 300km (190 miles) along the eastern half of the coast.
- Lateritic and montane are excellent terms, but I had to look up the former... just wondering if this level of precision is relevant?
- "party to:" It would really be great if these were linked to the relevant treaties (but how the heck you could find them I have no clue.)
- I have never seen a better upgrade of these CIA data dumps. Thanks! - Amgine 03:06, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Good start, Neutrality. It'd be nice to see the last of the CIA dumped material put into prose form, which shouldn't be too hard. However, the best suggestion I can make is to take a look at Geography of Ireland, and copy its format. The Irish article is amazing, and sets up a layout that could be used for practically any country. Ambi 03:31, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
