Indian metaphysics vs. NeoPagan notions
[edit]How the hell does something from Indian metaphysics end up in a wiccan/pagan pentagram?Or am I misreading the article? -- कुक्कुरोवाच|Talk‽ 07:09, 23 Jun 2004 (UTC)
The Wiccans will take any term at all and draw it in a pentagram. Unless there is some citation establishing the notability of this, the neopagan bit should just be removed. dab (ᛏ) 11:55, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I think it was an early 20th century occultistic thing ("akashic archives" etc.), not a specifically Wiccan thing. AnonMoos 20:18, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
"Aether"
[edit]I removed the aether link itself because the links to the two meanings of aether relevant to this article appear directly after it, and the disambiguation page links to many meanings of aether not relevant to the article. LindeeK 21:10, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Popular culture
[edit]Akasha is the legendary queen of the vampires. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.178.100.246 (talk) 20:21, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
Image
[edit]I'm not exactly sure what purpose the image in this article with the caption "Baby feeding. (Akasha Festival 2007, Victoria, Australia)" serves. It's from a festival named "Akasha Festival," yes, but since this festival is not described anywhere in the article, it seems to make the picture superfluous. cleanup
[edit]Should cleanup, Might have to move most to disambiguation page and use this page as just reference to the Vedic term. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Empireheart (talk • contribs) 11:29, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
~~Cleanup moving along, should have this article up to standards soon, sourcing and will move popular culture references to dis page ~Okay I think Akasha should have its own page and I don't think it can be combined with Aether, main reason that this term needs to be treated as a Vedic term first. Since it is well known. I will continue working. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Empireheart (talk • contribs) 21:53, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Sorted definitions by name of religion
[edit]I sorted the definitions by name of religion and philosophical sub-school of religion, to avoid jumping from one to another and back again. Not logged in right now, but i am User:catherineyronwode cat yronwode 64.142.90.33 (talk) 23:24, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Incomplete Sentence in Intro?
[edit]Hello all,
It seems like there is a typo in the last sentence of the introduction:
“ The term has also been adopted in Western occultism and spiritualism in the late 1”
Just wanted to point that out.
Thank you! JosephusTheSlight (talk) 18:57, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
Another Popular Culture Use
[edit]With the release of Endwalker, MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV introduced Akasha as a component of its world as being similar to Aether but as an entirely independent energy influenced by emotion. Whether this warrants a pop culture section is leave to others. 74.15.216.137 (talk) 17:10, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
