I added Danny Louis in there b/c I saw him play with them live and he is on all their most recent recordings on the LMA. someone who knows more about the band should expand this, they are killer live!

I know of at least two other bands with the name... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.89.148.235 (talkcontribs) 04:32, 9 May 2005 (UTC).[reply]

Where do they play? I live in Toronto and have never heard of them... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.30.215.206 (talkcontribs) 13:29, 23 October 2005 (UTC).[reply]

Indeed, Allmusic Guide turns up a band from Georgia, and no hint of a Canadian band. I seriously doubt the Canadian band is notable enough to qualify for a Wikipedia article (see WP:MUSIC). On the other hand, the band from Georgia seems like they might, barely, meet the notability requirements (only one record, but they've toured in US and Europe according to one source I found). I'll do a little more research, but then I'll probably either hijack this stub and re-write it to be about the more notable band, or simply nominate it for deletion, depending on what I turn up. Unless, of course, fans of the Canadian band can turn up some evidence of notability before I get back. (I'm not going to hold my breath.) :) Xtifr tälk 06:44, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-revert to earlier band

[edit]

After some research, I've come to the conclusion that the US band (which was the original subject of this article) qualifies under Wikipedia's notability guidelines (WP:MUSIC), based on several notable members (if there were only one, a redirect might be more appropriate, but Jerry Joseph's All Music Guide entry clearly indicates his notability), as well as the 2004 US tour. It's marginal, but I think there's enough to pass. The article was switched to refer to a Canadian band by User:Bruce1ee, who was partly justified in his action, since the earlier versions of the article were almost 100% copyvio, but the Candian band is clearly not notable enough for its own article (and if it ever becomes notable enough, it can have a separate article). Before I go ahead and do so,

is there any reason I shouldn't redirect Holy Happy Hour here? Did it chart anywhere?--Launchballer 09:06, 19 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
