Market
[edit]"In 1242, King Henry III confirmed the right to hold a market on Thursdays. These continue more than 750 years later."
The referent of "these" is presumably meant to be "markets" rather than "Thursdays" (the only plural noun in the preceding sentence). Is the intended sense "markets continue on Thursdays"? If so, a better phrasing would be "Markets have continued to be held on Thursdays to this day" which shows the continuity of the practice as well as making sense. — Paul G 06:23, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
External Links
[edit]I have removed most of the external links. A couple were already dead links and most of the rest of the external sites cross-referenced each other anyway. Paulwa66 (talk) 22:13, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
