The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.
Images?
[edit]Are there no public domain images available for the city? Turly-burly 00:36, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Do we really need that picture with the CG Wampus Cat? -- Swerdnaneb 20:29, 24 June 2008 (UTC) tuuyuyuugt — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.15.234.77 (talk) 18:04, 11 September 2011 (UTC)
Church plug in "See Also"
[edit]Surely there's better stuff to put in the "See Also" for Conway. -- Ben (talk) 23:42, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
A Small Edit
[edit]I made a small edit. On the list of Colleges and Universities in Conway, UCA had a note about the estimated enrollment for Fall 2007. I removed that note because of two reasons. For one, CBC and Hendrix did not have that note so it is stylistically inconsistent. Secondly, this section in the article is there to inform about what institutions of higher education are in Conway. If the reader wants to know more about UCA, then they can click the wikilink about UCA and read about it there. Doolkid (talk) 23:51, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
The Culture Section
[edit]I would like to see the culture section expanded. Conway has a unique culture I feel. First there's the fact that there are three colleges here so there is a huge prescence of young people. Also, a lot of people live in Conway while working in Little Rock. So there are a lot of families being raised here. There is also the issue of Conway growing rapidly. If anyone could write about this effectively, it would be interesting.Doolkid (talk) 23:56, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- All I know of that the city does is Toad Suck and a Fair. Anything the colleges do would be more appropriate for their pages. I suppose you could mention that moonlight cinema thing they started. I'll see if I can find a Cabin article about this and the Farmer's market or something and throw it in there. Wedgiey1 (talk) 17:00, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
- I updated the culture section to include the recent EcoFest. Wedgiey1 (talk) 18:50, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Shouldn't Acxiom Corporation be in here? Wedgiey1 (talk) 16:38, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]I think if there were some sources for the history and education sections this article could be B-Class on the WikiProject Arkansas group. Wedgiey1 (talk) 21:15, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- Just went through and gathered references where 'citation needed' was listed, or removed the content, as is the case with Conway Twitty under the Culture category. Wedgiey1 (talk) 19:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
St. Peters Church?
[edit]Not sure this deserves its own heading on Conway's page. Maybe just a mention under history? Alternatively, I propose it be moved to St. Peter's Church or to the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas page. For now, I'll move it to a paragraph under history, but am not convinced even that is necessary. Wedgiey1 (talk) 17:51, 13 January 2010 (UTC)
What??? No. This doesn't deserve its own heading. I contend that this article does not need this paragraph at all. See also. I vote we nuke the paragraph. -- Swerdnaneb 21:33, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Great, I'm deleting it outright. Wedgiey1 (talk) 17:22, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
WikiProject Cities
[edit]I set us on low importance unless somebody thinks Conway qualifies along the lines of "international news coverage by multiple news agencies of any event or disaster." I sure can't think of anything. Wedgiey1 (talk) 17:28, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Notable Natives & Residents
[edit]I'm not sure people should qualify to be under here just for holding a public office. While I am grateful that Arlie served his country and was on the school board, I think more national recognition is needed to fall under this category. Also, I see no reason for Robbie Wills to be on here by the same merit. Thoughts? I'm removing them in the interim. --Wedgiey1 (talk) 16:05, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Distinctively German street names
[edit]These are mentioned in the article, but I'm having a hard time finding many. There's the tiny Eisinger Blvd, there's a German Ln, and there's a street named Nabholz, but that's just a company driveway for the construction co mentioned in the article. I'm sure there are a few more, but they're a drop in the ocean, no more than you'd find in most US towns of the same size. 74.124.172.6 (talk)
Siebenmorgen, Harkrider and Freyaldenhoven come to mind. 24.144.54.218 (talk) 00:25, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
