氹/凼
[edit]If you can't see the first character of the placename, the Unihan for "Dàng/tam" is here: Traditional & Simplified. --Menchi 14:45, 9 Nov 2003 (UTC)
Pinyin of Taipa 氹仔
[edit]There are two pronunciation(pinyin) of the Chinese character "仔", which are zǎi and zǐ.But the pronunciation of 氹仔 should be Dànzǎi, not Dàngzǐ. I hope it will be correct soon.
On the other hand, there is only pinyin of the names of place of Macau listed in Wikipedia. I hope Wikipedia add the Jyutping of all the names of place of Macau because Cantonese is the official language in Macau. --HeiChon~XiJun 13:55:06, 2005-07-26 (UTC)
- That's what I am working on.. adding IPA and Jyutping to some Hong Kong- and Macao-related topics. :-) Let's work on it together. — Instantnood 08:11, July 27, 2005 (UTC)
Taipa as a name
[edit]Taipa is also an american native name (Miwok) with meaning "spread wings". You can find it on many different websites for babynames. ---(User of german wikipedia : [Merlus] ) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.73.138.250 (talk) 19:56, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
